Tuna Chickpea Salad

This tuna chickpea salad and an easy, delicious recipe that takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. Packed with over 50 grams of protein, this meal offers the perfect combination of tasty, convenient, and nutritious! Enjoy some crackers or pretzels if your wanting to add some easy carbs!

INGREDIENTS

  • Canned chickpeas (1 can)

  • Canned white tuna (1 can)

  • 2 stocks of celery

  • 2 carrots

  • 1 tbsp mayo (or dijon mustard)

  • 1 tsp of salt

  • 2 tsp of pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Rinse and drain canned chickpeas

Step 2: Chop up celery and carrots and set aside.

Step 3: Pour chickpeas into a medium bowl and mash with a fork. Mash until chickpeas are almost all broken apart with the exception of a few.

Step 4: Drain canned tuna and pour tuna into bowl with chickpeas. Mix the two until well combined.

Step 5: Add mayo and mix until mayo is evenly combined with ingredients.

Step 6: Add chopped up carrots and celery and mix.

Step 7: Sprinkle with salt and pepper and Enjoy!
